HB-2 Lighting Controller

The HB-2 Lighting Controller gives you a Simple, Easy, & Safe way to add various light configurations to your RC vehicle. HB-2 can power up to 12 High Power & 8 Standard LEDs with a max input of 2S.

The HB-2 Lighting Controller powers directly from your vehicle's battery via the included 2S Balance Port Power Cable and regulates that power to your LEDs. So you never need to worry about overpowering or damaging LEDs from miswiring. Actually, the HB-2 can be powered off any DC voltage from 6.5-9V DC. The electronics in the HB-2 are very rugged and meet MyTrickRC's strict Quality Requirements.

Flexible Options for Power Input

The HB-2 Lighting Controller gives you plenty of options for powering it. First, you can use the included Receiver Power Cable to power directly off your vehicle's Receiver or Servo. Or you can use the included 2S Balance Port Power Connector to power off a 2S Battery Balance Port. Alternatively you can add a 3S Balance Port Power Connector to power off a 3S Battery Balance Port. HB-2 will safely accept the voltage coming from any of these and regulate it to the appropriate levels. That way if, say, your Receiver is outputting 7.4V, it's not a problem - HB-2 will ensure your Attack Light Bars see only 5V on the High Power Ports and safely operate at their designed condition.

NOTE

To prevent over discharge of your LiPo battery, be sure to turn off the HB-2 right away if your vehicle's LiPo battery protect feature turns your vehicle off. If you prefer to power your HB-2 directly off your Receiver instead use the included Receiver/Servo Power Cable.
